Jumpsuits for the Curvy woman

Myth- Plus Size women shouldn’t wear jumpsuits. They are unflattering and make you look larger.

Fact- no matter where you wear your weight, there is a jumpsuit style for you.

Are you larger in your midsection?  choose one that is wide all the way down the leg so that the eye does not immediately  go to your ankle (thereby accentuating how wide your middle is).

Are you larger on your bottom? Choose one that ties at the waist in order to cinch your waist and direct the eye to the smallest part of your torso.

Soft fabrics are best.  They lay and move with your body.  Sturdy or stiff fabrics tend to sit on top of your body.  They can also make you look boxy and unflattered.

Shapewear is your best friend.  Jumpsuits can be clingy.  Smoothing out your lumps and bumps with a high waist shaper will elevate your silhouette.

Some recommend solid colors for jumpsuits.  Clearly, I don’t ascribe to that.  I am a bit more bold so when it comes to jump suits, I actually prefer a print.  Prints take less work when it comes to accessories.  There is no need to making anything “pop” or be more exciting.  The whole outfits pops when it’s in a print.

Here are some examples of jumpers that I’ve worn.   I hope this inspires you to step out and try them.
