Why is it so cold in here?? Burrr! Working in an office building can make you feel like “Winter is coming” (Game of Thrones reference LOL) all year long. Its always a good idea to have have a sweater that you just keep at work so you don’t freeze to death. But if you’re anything like me, you like to change it up a bit. I can’t count how many cardigans I have. They really make getting dressed in the morning a cinch! A pair of trousers, a sleeveless camisole/dressy tank, and a cardigan. BOOM! Dressed for work. But it can be difficult to know where to get a good cardigan that is going to last. The one I am wearing today, I have had for at least five years. I don’t necessarily have a go to place for cardigans. I assess my need and adjust my expectations of price and quality according to which retailer has the nicest looking one.

I am going to give you some Pros and Cons to some of the most popular plus size clothing retailers:

  • Need a last minute cardigan for your trip and your’e on you way to the airport?  Target is going to hook you up. 

  • Looking for a wardrobe staple, and you want to wear it this spring and the next, and the next? Lane Bryant is the place to go. 

  • Causal Friday at the office and you want to bring some flair to the office with character themed cardigan and jeans?  Torrid is my go to. 

    LATHAM LOFT STYLE TIP: You should be able to spread your tastes across multiple stores.  That way your look is always fresh, un-duplicated, and you are exposed to different styles.
